Polar bears live in the Arctic near the North Pole. It is very cold there - between -34C to 0C. They have very thick white coats to keep them warm.


Adult Polar Bears tend to be very solitary creatures, often only actively sharing time with other polar bears during mating season in the summer.


The world population of polar bears is not more than 40,000 in total. The number of humans in the city of Tokyo is more than 12,000,000.

Polar bears are the largest land carnivore in the world. They typically weigh between 300kg to 500kg when fully grown. They eat humans.
